Mr Wong’s Science lesson is very interesting. I definitely learnt a lot of things. Mr Wong is a very responsible and experienced teacher. In P5 End Year Examination, I got 76 for Science, but after I went for KRTC tuition, my grades improved and I got AL1 for my PSLE! Mr Wong is a very patient and dedicated teacher. He always explain science concepts when I am in doubt.

Mr Wong gives us challenging Math questions for us to solve and there were some difficult questions to solve for PSLE. When our answer is wrong or not sure of our answer, he will thoroughly explain and tell us the method to solve that particular questions. His lessons are enjoyable and fun. He also gives us some revision questions for us to revise our concepts and to remember the basics. I have improved my Math through his teaching and I have learnt a lot from him. He does not give homework except for the progressive reviews.

Mr Wong gives us notes for some topics. He gives us questions for us to recap on our P3, P4 and P5 topics. He sometimes give us questions with Science topics that we have not learnt in school so that we can be prepared and learn more about it. When given a challenging question, he will let us try and then explain it to us thoroughly, tell us the Science concept and how to structure our answer. He tells us extra Science information to expand our knowledge of Science. His lessons are fun and enjoyable. I have learnt a lot from Mr Wong and improved my Science through his teaching. Mr Martin teaches us the grammar rules and let us try the grammar questions that may come out for PSLE. He will explain each question thoroughly and tell us the grammar rule for the question. For vocabulary questions, he will tell us the meaning of each word and explain the question after we tried it. For compo, he gives us some good phrases and sentences that we can use for the compo theme. He teaches personification, idioms, proverbs and many more. He gives us compo tips. For the other components, he will explain the compo tips. For the other components, he will explain the answer for us and teaches us how to answer the questions for each component. His questions can be challenging but it is to prepare us for PSLE. His lessons are fun and enjoyable. He will ask us to complete the worksheet or compo at home if we cannot finish in class. but, my English improved through his teaching.

It was a long road ahead, and i still kept on getting a ’B’. After my mother saw my results, she immediately signed me up for Science tuition with Mr Rama at KRTC. At first, I thought that this tutor was going to be as naggy as the rest of my teachers. But no, Mr Rama patiently guided me on my work. He has helped me to improve my science by a lot and he also went the extra mile to teach me the S2 topics when I was still on my S1. Since my first day of the lesson with Mr Rama, I was already able to understand the subject better. Whenever I have upcoming exam, Mr Rama would print some worksheet on the exam topics. I started attending Mdm Loh’s classes during Primary school. After attending various chinese tuition centres, my chinese still did not improve. But after I joined Mdm Loh’s Chinese classes, I knew it was the right one for me. I get a sudden ‘A’ in PSLE for Chinese. I felt very suprised on how much I have improved from continuously failing Chinese. Now in S3, despite a short break of not taking her tuition, I am still be able to get decent results for my Chinese. I want to thank Mdm Loh for teaching me througout these years and boosting my confidence in Chinese.

When I transitioned to Higher Chinese in S2, I lacked confidence in Chinese Language, particularly in the oral domain, due to the huge jump from express to Higher Chinese. However, under Mdm Loh’s unwavering faith and guidance, she provided plenty of opportunities for me to develop my oratorical skills, and eventually helped me acquire a merit in ‘O’ levels oral from consistently failing in internal school exams. With her relentless support despite my ailing confidence in the language, I was able to achieve not only my desired expectations, but also exceeded the targets which seemed like a long shot.

At first, when I joined KRTC, I thought that my foundation of Math was good enough to survive in Secondary school. However my test results did not reflect that as I had flunked my CA2 which was the first time I had ever failed a Maths test. After being taught by Mr Chok, I felt that my foundation in Maths got stronger after revising his worksheet and concepts, allowing my results to attain an A2 during the ‘O’ levels.

Before joining KRTC, I was struggling in Science subjects like Chemistry and Physics. However, after being tutored by Mr Rama and studying really hard, I saw my results finally rise above the E8s and F9s. I finally passed my Chemistry exam and getting a C6 for the first time in prelims and achieved a B3 in ‘O’ levels. Overall, I feel that my experience in Science would have been much worst without Mr Rama’s help.

Mr Chok had always been my favourite tutor since my Secondary school tuition started 2 years ago. Mr Chok made the classroom a really comfortable space for my peers and I to freely ask any question we had regarding Maths. Of course, Mr Chok humour had also made us less tense during class, making the lessons much more fun, interactive and effective. The past Maths lessons I have had with Mr Chok had really helped me with the tremendous amount of context I had to learn at school and Mr Chok had really made the equations and any mathematical methods much more easier to understand. I went from being very tired of Maths to very interested in Maths.

I have always been a very worrying person especially on my Science. Secondary 2 was a horrible academic year for me but after Mr Rama’s lesson, I realised that in Science, there is a reason behind everything and this perked my interest in Science. Mr Rama is a really attentive teacher as he knows what his students need and he gives us time to ask whatever question we have and answers them. Not only that, he also goes into the details at any particular topic he taught us and honestly, it really helped me as the more you know and understand about a particular subject/topic, the more confident you are in it, and the confidence that Mr Rama gave me really really drives my motivation to work hard.

Ms. Liza’s lessons were extremely engaging and targeted. Every new topic would first be introduced with a brief explanation of the key concepts and what to look out for. Additionally, the ‘step-up’ structure of the lessons allowed me to firmly grasp the
fundamentals of each topic by trying out basic questions before proceeding to attempt more challenging ones. If I had things to clarify, Ms Liza would go the extra mile to concisely clear my doubts. This has helped me tremendously in my O level preparations.

Mr. Tan Taught me English and Science, He is a very fun tutor. If i have any questions or i do not know how to do my homework, I will ask him for help. He helped me on how to start my weighted assessment presentation for my school. He explained concepts in Science to make it simpler to understand. He also teach me how to start off a composition.
